At Pilgrim Memorial Church we value the Bible as our guide for what we believe and for how we live our faith, so we practice openness and respect as a primary Christian value.

 

I’m glad that I have been invited to be the pastor here and you can contact me through the Church office.

 

 Here’s a snapshot of my background.

 

I’m in my 30th year of pastoral ministry, and before becoming a pastor I was a university instructor for 10 years.

 

My formal education includes these degrees: Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Speech Communication, and Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication.

 

My informal education has come from being married for 38 years and from having a son and a daughter and 4 grandchildren, 2 in MN and 2 here in Jamestown.

 

Family, friends, church and community have provided me many opportunities to learn and grow.

 

Since my wife died suddenly in 2010 I’ve learned about loss and grief and having a second chance.
